Grown under specific weather and soil conditions, this grade of basmati has up to 7.9 mm average grain length and maximum 12% moisture content. This grade of rice is used to prepare authentic cuisines in commercial and household kitchens. As part of its processing technology, paddy is dried after steaming. Grains are then parboiled under controlled temperature without affecting their food value.
